Epic Story
The story of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Highly Compressed begins with the player character imprisoned in a dungeon. During this time, Emperor Uriel Septim VII arrives with his personal guards because he is escaping from a group of assassins. He and his guards are using a secret passage that leads through the prison. The emperor is eventually killed by members of a mysterious cult known as the Mythic Dawn. Before his death he gives an important task to players to find his son, Martin Septim, who may be the only person capable of saving the Empire.
