Darksiders Highly Compressed is an action and adventure game that takes place in a destroyed world. The game is played from third-person perspective and combines several elements like exploration, sword combat, puzzles to solve and a dark fantasy story. The game shows a destructive world after the conflict between Hell and Heaven. War is the main character that returns back to this destroyed world and must find out what has actually  happened. The game became extremely popular among the players just after its release due to its mixes of a lot of elements.

Explained Story

The story of the game revolves around the main character known as War. He is sent to earth to stop a war between Heaven and Hell. When he reaches earth conflict has started as he explores the areas. Heaven forces are defeated, powerful demons control the earth and humanity has almost vanished. War is blamed for breaking a law and brought before the Charred Council, a powerful authority that controls all the matters between Hell and Heaven. However, war receives another chance to prove he is betrayed.

Entertaining Gameplay

Gameplay of Darksiders Highly Compressed heavily focuses on action and exploration. Combat is also featured in the game and you can use combos, attacks, punches and defend enemy attacks. The main weapon of War is a powerful sword known as Chaoseater. Large environments are filled with ruined buildings, underground locations and dungeons. Exploration is an important part of the game as players need to explore the environments and collect useful items. Another feature of the game is solving puzzles as you need to solve puzzles that give you clues and help you move forward in the game. Boss battles are also featured in the game where powerful bosses may attack you directly. You must be careful and observe every attack and defend them to get success in combat.
